Social Program
On
the last day of the Leverhulme International Network workshop and to
join with the IWANASP 2011 delegates, we have arranged for a set
menu at a local Indian restaurant - Helsby Spice (201 Chester Road,
Frodsham, Cheshire WA6 0DA)
Wednesday 7th September – “Helsby Spice” GBP20 per person – cost includes
(from a set menu of 3 choices for each course): Starter, Main course,
Dessert, Up to 2 drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), and Coffee.
For those able to
stay after the workshop finishes there will be a trip to North Wales by
tour bus on Saturday
10th September (GBP 20) and the
opportunity to go on a steam train through picturesque Snowdonia.
Itinerary:
Leave Chester at 09.30,
arrive Llandudno (a Victorian seaside resort) http://www.visitllandudno.org.uk/
at approximately 10.45.
Leave for Blaenau Ffestiniog at 13.30 and arrive at approximately
15.00.
Option to go by
steam train - http://www.festrail.co.uk/index.shtml
(cost TBA), or by tour bus to Porthmadog, and then back to Chester
by tour bus for approximately 18.30.
